En el primer giro el corcho era muy recto por lo que decidi quitarlo con un cuchillo el exceso, de esta manera tiene mejor conicidad y aspecto. Por lo visto cuando crecía al aire libre un tronco cayó sobre esta rama y la seccionó y ella de manera natural cicatrizó la herida pero dejando un corcho muy recto.
Na cortiça no primeiro tramo era muito reto assim que eu decidi remover o excesso com uma faca, então ele tem melhor aspecto e conicidade. Aparentemente, quando ele estava crescendo na floresta caiu neste galho um tronco que secciono o galho e, naturalmente, ela curou a ferida, mas deixar um tronco muito reto.
